FARO – giving is happiness

Helping kids with limited resources

I started FARO as a non-governmental, non-profit, voluntary and 100% donor-funded initiative for the transfer of joy, happiness, progress and a better life from kind-hearted people to the those in need across the world.

We engage in the specific projects that target the improvement of life quality for underprivileged kids in developing countries, allowing us to make a positive impact.

MISSION

Contribute to bring joy, happiness, progress and a higher standard of living from kind-hearted people to the less fortunate inhabitants of our planet.

VISION

To engage in community-focused interventions in developing countries, aimed at improving the living standards of children.

How does FARO operate?

At FARO we have no political, religious, national or any other restrictions or priorities. All we want is to return to the basics of charity, to avoid bureaucracy, greed and lack of control, which is the weakness of many governmental and non-governmental charitable organizations in the 21st century.

We believe that numerous people are willing to help in concrete causes that have a direct and tangible effect. We assure that 100% of the aid reaches its destination and positively impact the lives of young people who had not been born into favorable conditions.

Until now, we have collected contributions and donations among friends and relatives, clearly specifying the what, when, how and for whom.

Our interventions comply with the following criteria:

  1. All tasks within FARO are carried out on a voluntary basis.
  2. The aid is delivered in person by a FARO representative on site.
  3. Close monitoring and accountability: beginning and end, amounts collected and spent, effects and benefits.
  4. The main priority is to directly benefit children.
  5. 100% of donations are fully allocated to the beneficiaries without any deductions. No funds are utilized for transportation, time, or any other indirect expenses.

FARO projects

Up to this point we have collected and donated goods worth approximately 4,100 US$, accompanied by considerable goodwill and several hours of volunteer service. While we acknowledge that we cannot eliminate all poverty and hardship, we firmly believe that our support ends in the right hands. The numerous smiles, sincere gratitude, and expressions of hope represent the most meaningful rewards of our activities.
